postheadericon Does It Offend You, Yeah? – Dawn Of The Dead

This band reminds me a bit of The Limousines or of InnerPartySystem by the tape deck kind of sound quality they have. The music video isn’t fantastic but I love this song. See if you can catch the steel drums in this song. Enjoy.

You know ‘em we love ‘em. Vampire Weekend! I don’t have to say much here, because these guys are already huge in the US. I just love this song of theirs and especially this music video, maybe because I’m a tennis fanatic, but it is a kickass song and it’s a bit different from their normal high pitched coconut party guitar riffed songs.

postheadericon Zoe – Reptilectric

Indie rock electric song by Zoe - Reptilectric

Mexican electronic pop rock group Zoe is huge in Central and Latin America, especially Mexico where they’re from. They’ve won two Latin Grammy’s and a bunch of other awards since 2007 when their music started to really kick ass. They’ve been around since 1997 or so, but their latest albums are of really good quality and even if you have no idea what they’re saying their music comes across as contemporary and very well produced. There’s not even any brass instruments or accordions!

They’ve got a lot of songs that are also highly playable to the English speaking American. Take a listen!
