Song of the Day

A Music Blog, because I love music, why else?!

I made Song of the Day to share the music I love with my friends and family. The songs are hand picked every day after hours of grueling research, decision making, and brainstorming (jk). I love music and music videos and plan to use this site as a way to highlight amazing bands, songs, or music videos that are not so often on the tops of the billboard charts or seldom played on the radio. Bands that you’ll see here will most likely not have million dollar advertising agencies pushing their songs on radio stations and into advertisements or iPod commercials; which is probably why you may not have heard many of the songs on this site before.

Why one song a day? I decided to post one song a day at the moment because that is all I have time to do, maybe if enough people share this site with their friends then I could start expanding somehow, with multiple musical genres for example. Until then, you’ll just have to settle for just one awesome song every day. And if you like what I post, please subscribe to the weekly emails or RSS feed and support the artist buy purchasing the songs you like, or even the entire album if you’re so inclined.

If you know cool bands that nobody else seems to know about yet, please write your comments somewhere on the site with your recommendations of artists or songs. I love sharing music and learning about new artists and songs. And if I digg it, I’ll post it, it’s like butt’ah.
