Philosophy

No matter how much we look around and try to stay in the loop of all the new great music and bands that are coming out every day it seems there is always more out there for us to discover. Radios often seem to be playing the same playlists over and over again and we end up listening too much to the music that gets promoted by huge advertising agencies. It is my belief that there will always be thousands of great bands and songs out there that 99% of people won’t ever hear because it isn’t played on the radio, on our favorite TV shows, or Music channels. You might be saying to yourself, well, that’s because those media outlets only want to play the best stuff. Well, my goal with Song of the Day is to show you that not only do radio stations and major media Music Channels play a very limited amount of music, but that some of the BEST music that’s being made today can’t be found through these traditional means.

So that’s why I’m here. To share with you the wide variety of great music that is being made in the world today that rarely ever gets to touch your ears. Music is very powerful and inspiring for me, and giving today’s great artists who you normally would not know about a fair showing is desperately needed. Music is art, and what is art if nobody sees or hears it.
